In her defense, Clenney asserts, “I didn’t stab him once; I threw it from across the room,” referring to a knife allegedly used in the incident. Prosecutors, however, contend that Clenney admitted to throwing the knife at her boyfriend, claiming self-defense, while they charge her with second-degree murder.
Following the altercation, Clenney was removed from the premises. Tragically, Obsumseli succumbed to his injuries, leading to Clenney’s subsequent arrest months later on murder charges.
“I’m covered in his blood because I tried to save him. I need him; he’s like my other half,” Clenney’s distraught plea echoes through the turmoil of the situation.
