A video claiming to depict the tragic killing of Chicago rapper FBG Duck has emerged online, causing shock and indignation. The two-minute footage captures the rapper being fatally shot by a group of individuals outside a store in the Gold Coast. It is important to note that the authenticity of the video cannot be verified, and for this reason, Times Now has chosen not to share it.
The clip swiftly spread across various social media platforms, prompting strong reactions from users. Some criticized the posting of the video, stating, “Sharing that FBG Duck video was in poor taste. We didn’t need to witness that.” Another individual expressed their sadness, saying, “The FBG Duck video is truly heartbreaking.”
A different perspective emerged, with someone reflecting, “The video of FBG Duck being murdered is disturbing. As someone who experienced being ambushed, robbed, and shot five times, I can’t fathom his last moments. I am a fan of King Von and Duck, and I hope this serves as a lesson for the younger generation. Glamorizing rivalries isn’t cool.”
For context, FBG Duck, whose real name is Carlton Weekly, met a tragic end outside a luxury clothing store on August 4, 2020. In addition to his death, his girlfriend and another shopper were injured in the attack.
Authorities disclosed that the shooting was linked to the ongoing gang conflict between Duck’s Tookaville faction of the Gangster Disciples and the O-Block set of the Black Disciples. Notably, six members of the O-Block street gang were recently convicted in connection to the incident.
